Fall is the time of harvests, so take a few moments to discover the five new Learning Objects Collections from the Harvests of Prince Edward Island virtual exhibit. You likely know all about the famous potato harvest, but were you aware that, between 1900 and 1980, the silver fox industry was to Prince Edward Island what the Gold Rush was to the Klondike?
Thanks to the Teachers’ Centre at virtualmuseum.ca, you can boost your knowledge by visiting the following learning objects: Harvests of Prince Edward Island: Irish Moss; Harvests of Prince Edward Island: Island Potato; Harvests of Prince Edward Island: Malpeque Oyster; and Harvests of Prince Edward Island: Mussel Mud.
