I did a lot of reading this summer. I imagine you did too. So I’m starting this new year on a lighter note by telling you about the small finds I came across this summer.
First, a study conducted at Northwestern University found that musicians who tried to reproduce the melody they had previously learned and listened to while they slept made fewer mistakes. A tip for music teachers!
Second, an article in the review Les Affaires blog (in French only) provided foolproof tips for being creative such as working in a blue environment, which is more stimulating. I thought that you might find this interesting since a great deal of a teacher’s work is based on creativity.
