Explore the history and prehistory of the Iroquois through the new virtual exhibit The St. Lawrence Iroquoians, produced by the Droulers-Tsiionhiakwatha Archaeological Site and Interpretation Centre. The exhibit explores the life of the Iroquoian peoples of the Upper St. Lawrence from 1000 AD to the present day, through archaeological, historical and ethnographic records of the region. As an active archaeological site, the Interpretation Centre presents a unique view of the life and times of the area near present-day Saint-Anicet, QC, in part through an examination of the material culture. The exhibit features not only the objects found at the site and the stories they tell, but video demonstrations by experimental archaeologists on how these objects were fashioned and used.
