To mark the occasion of National Aviation Day on February 23, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum and the Virtual Museum of Canada (VMC) are pleased to present a special instalment of SCIENCE TALK.
The VMC will introduce a video on the iconic R-100. This privately designed airship made an historic voyage to Canada in 1930, and the video produced is part of the HISTORY MATTERS series which won a Gold award in the Educational Podcast category at the New York International Radio Festival®.
This presentation will be followed by a discussion by an expert panel on the airships of yesterday and today.
If you are in the Ottawa area, we invite you to join us for this fascinating look into the past and the future of air transport. Admission is FREE.
