
In August, 1930, nearly 100,000 people gathered in St. Hubert, Quebec to see the R-100 airship, fresh from its maiden cross-Atlantic voyage. People from all over the province and beyond descended on the airfield to catch a glimpse of the monstrous airship. It was an event forever etched into the history of the town.
