- Colby-Curtis Museum (Stanstead Historical Society) – Québec (French and English)
The Museum is located in Carrollcroft, a large heritage house built by
Charles Carroll Colby in 1859 and donated in 1992 with its entire furnishings
and an important collection of family papers to the SHS by the Colby family.
A love story between Charles William Colby and Emma Frances Cobb highlights
the use of valentines.

- Cupids Museum - Newfoundland (English Only)
The museum displays artifacts from the ongoing Archaeology
of the first official English colony in Canada established at Cupids
in 1610. Exhibits include a postal history, some of which is related

The Museum recreates a rural village and two farms where costumed
interpreters welcome you to the year 1914. Their collection includes

decorative and folk art heart motifs on artifacts.

- Fanshawe Pioneer Village – London, Ontario (English Only)
Artifacts are on display in more than 25 restored buildings. Trades
of the past are demonstrated by weavers, printmakers, blacksmiths
and farmers. Their collection includes Valentine's Day cards
from 1905-1912 and a love story which highlights the use of Valentines.

- Maison St-Gabriel – Montréal, Québec (English and French)
This magnificent three-hundred-year-old house, purchased
by Marguerite Bourgeoys in 1668, is one of the finest examples
of traditional Quebec
architecture. Converted into a museum in 1966, it showcases different
aspects of rural life in the 17th century and the extraordinary adventure
of the King's Wards with its permanent collection. Visit its temporary
exhibit in the 19th century stone barn as well as its garden, which
has been recreated in the spirit of New France.

A community museum collecting and exhibiting artifacts and material
relating to the social history and development of the area. The museum
holds material on local celebrities, including Nora Clench, a 19th-century
concert violinist, and donations from area families, such as the
Grants who
gave Dorothy Lankin Grant's Valentine cards made by her school class
in 1926.

- The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum - Florida (English only)
The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum is located on Sanibel
Island, Florida, a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico that is renowned
for its abundant
seashells, or mollusks. The nonprofit Museum features more than
30 exhibits on mollusks from around the world, with special focus
on mollusks of Sanibel and its sister island Captiva, and Southwest
Florida. Exhibit highlights include the role of mollusks in art,
architecture, and medicine, and a Children's Learning Laboratory
has a tank with live mollusks. Hourly video programs allow visitors
to learn about mollusks and their habitats. The Museum Library
is a member of the OCLC InterLibrary Loan system and the Museum
Store offers an extensive selection of books and unusual shell-motif
gift items.
