Years 1900-1930

Quite popular during the industrial development period, the double-slope-roof house with dormer window had a very simple form and little ornamentation. The dormer window made its apparition at the end of the 19th Century, when new heating methods made it possible to cut an opening in the roof. From that time, the attic went from grain storage to living space.
