Re-working PEI's presentation of itself as the land of the bucolic landscape and Anne of Green Gables, inserting herself as a visitor, Yoon brings attention to representations of place and their impact on our sense subjectivity and belonging. Jin-me Yoon was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1960. She is a photo-based artist who currently lives and works in Vancouver. |
