
| Also listed as Cobalus cannae this is a coastal species ranging from Mexico to Argentina, it is a common species in lowland Peru. Above it is a brownish butterfly with lighter coloured wing margins, and white, crescent shaped markings on the forewings. Mature larvae are 45-50 mm. Young larvae are green, while mature larvae are rose coloured, due to a change in diet. Their diet includes Achira, and species from the Cyperaceae family. |
