A member of the Checkered Skippers genus, bocchoris has three subspecies in Peru. The coastal subspecies is likely trisignatus. The upperside hindwings have a large quadrate white spot. The underside hindwings are white with narrow black markings. Wingspan is approximately 29 mm.
