During the Stampede, everyone gets the chance to look and act like a cowboy. Some choose to look like a working ranch hand, others prefer the glitz of a country singing star. The ten days of Stampede are unique. People dress western, are a little friendlier, and can act a little wilder and crazier than normal. The relaxed atmosphere creates a strong community bond as people share the cowboy spirit they know and love.
