If you are between the ages of 8 and 17, the Department of Canadian Heritage invites you to a virtual Treasure Hunt through 23 museums across Canada. While on the Treasure Hunt, you will discover new things about science, technology, nature, art, and history.

Read the instructions carefully. There are three levels in the game: For 8 to 11 year-olds: you have to correctly answer 10 questions. For 12 to 14 year-olds: you have to correctly answer 15 questions. For 15 to 17 year-olds: you have to correctly answer 23 questions.

• To start the quiz, click on the treasure chest matching your age group;
• Choose a question by clicking on any one of the 23 numbers on the map of Canada;
• The photo of the museum will appear;
• To return to the map, click on the photo;
• Read the question carefully, you may need to scroll the bar;
• Click on the compass to go to the museum;
• Read the text to find the answer to the question, you may need to scroll down to see it;
• Click on "yes" for "Show choice of answers";
• Click on the answer of your choice;
• If you get an incorrect answer, you can either click again on "Answer the question again" or click on "Go to another question";
• All answers will be posted: in black when the answer is correct; in red when it is not the correct answer. You may need to scroll down to see all answers;
• Continue by choosing other museums across Canada;
• When you will have successfully answered all questions for your age group, a page with a message will show up.

• Be careful! If you go back to a previous page, you will have to start the quiz again!
