This Link Trainer was built in Gananoque, Ontario. It was the first flight simulator used to test and train Canadian pilots. "Canada's first black airman, Sergeant Gerry Bell sits in Link Trainer during demonstration. An early version of modern flight simulators, the Link Trainer was built in Gannonoque Ontario and served throughout the Second World War helping to train pilots in instrument flying."
