Keno City Mining Museum
Région touristique : Silver Trail
The museum features blacksmithing, hand tools, mining technology and equipment and memorabilia from an era not yet forgotten. Along with the Kennedy Bradshaw Photograph Collection, the museum is housed in Jackson's Hall (ca.1926), formerly the community dance hall. The museum and community itself are "The Jewels at the end of the Road". The newly constructed exhibits tell the story of the history of silver mining in the Yukon. The community and its system of interwoven hiking trails and heritage buildings in effect makes the Keno area an eco-museum.
