The Saskatchewan Western Development Museum of social and economic history for the province of Saskatchewan, it is a network of four exhibit branches in the cities of Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Saskatoon, Yorkton, with a curatorial centre in Saskatoon; the WDM at North Battleford tells the Story of Agriculture at its Heritage Farm & Village

Histoire humaine

Western Development Museum's Heritage Farm & Village showcases the WDM's large collection of agricultural equipment including steam and gas tractors, tillage and harvesting equipment; the 1920's outdoor village represents a typical Saskatchewan village of the 1920's; many original buildings have been moved to site, including a farmhouse, barn, Saskatchewan Wheat PoolGrain Elevator and railway station, churches, school and town homes.

Services

Demonstrations of 1920s farming operations held May - August; Museum Days offer demonstrations of vintage equipment to school children in June; "Those Were The Days," an annual summer show held the second weekend in August, brings the past to life through special displays, demonstrations and contests
