Gabriola Museum

This small, volunteer-run, community museum tells the story of Gabriola Island in the Strait of Georgia, from the ice age to recent European settlement.

The historical collection of the Gabriola Museum chronicles the activities of the island's inhabitants since its settlement in the mid-nineteenth century by mixed Aboriginal/European families. Although details have changed, many of these activites continue into the present day.
