This museum houses artifacts and exhibits on early aboriginal groups. Adjacent to the museum is the Soapstone Quarry Site which the Paleo Eskimo's used to manufacture cooking pots and oil lamps.

Artifacts from Maritime Archaic Indians, approximately 5000 years old, Grosswater Paleo Eskimo artifacts, approximately 2800 years old, Dorset Paleo Eskimo artifacts, approximately 1600 years old, and recent Indian artifacts, approximately 1200 years old.

We offer daily tours of museum exhibits, public programs for school groups and bus tours, guided tours to archaeological site, hiking trail programs, public computer centre, slide show presentation, and tourism information.
Ouvert : May 1 - August 31, Open 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm.
September 1 - April 31, Open 5 days a week from 9am to 5pm.
