Established in 1966, the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame and Museum recognizes excellence in Saskatchewan sport history. The Hall of Fame mandate recognizes individuals and teams who have made their mark on the sport stage. The Museum mandate focuses on the varied sport history of the province.

The collection is a combination of artifacts and archives spanning the history of sport in Saskatchewan for the past 100 years. We are the permanent repository for the Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club collection.

Research can be done on site with the collection by a researcher free of charge, or museum staff will facilitate the request for a fee. Appointments are required. Services include: photo library, Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club Collection, artifact collection, sport archives collection and resource room.

Programmes Éducatifs

Five pre-school modules held in the spring and fall. Kindergarten to Grade 12 school programs offered during the school year on an in-house and out-reach basis. Elders Program offered throughout the year. Tour bookings required.

School Programs : Age 0-4 (Pre-School) : Age 5-11 (k-6) : Age 12-17 (7-13)(Quebec: Secondary 1-CEGEP) : Age 18 and up (Post-Secondary) • Seniors Programs
Autre : All education programs can be tailored to fit special needs. Tour bookings required.

Memberships are available at a cost of $25/individuals; $40/family, $50/Associations and Provincial Sport Governing Bodies, and $75/corporations. Volunteers are always welcome at the Hall and Museum. There is a interview/screening process that is implemented for this service.

We offer a series of sport history books featuring the history of sport governing bodies within the province. Various titles. "For the Record" is our newsletter published quarterly.
