Multiple Artifacts and numerous catagories of Archival Material.
Newspapers, scrapbooks, written history books, family history books, photos, videos & taped interviews.
Displays of objects that were used in the early settlement of St. Vital.
(Household, personal, job related etc.)

Filing system for printed materials regarding history of St. Vital and surrounding areas, since the early days of the Metis Settlements in the 1800's. This includes St. Vital Schools.

St. Vital Historian Newsletter published 4 times a year. Sent out free of charge to Members. Includes articles & photos about the history of St. Vital, upcoming events and letters or stories received from Members (their memories of growing up in St. Vital) etc. This newsletter is put together strictly by volunteers.
Back issues are available at a cost of $1.00/issue.

We host 4 seasonal events, Dates and theme of event may vary, but usually in the months of February, June, September and November.

Open: Current hours of operation: September to June
Open: Monday to Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
