The Saskatchewan Western Development Museum is the museum of social and economic history for the province of Saskatchewan, it is a network of four exhibit branches in the cities of Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Saskatoon, Yorkton, with a curatorial centre in Saskatoon; 1910 Boomtown is a representation of a typical Saskatchewan town, captures the atomsphere and style of this bustling period;the pioneer theme includes transportation and agricultural artifacts.

WDM's 1910 Boomtown features an indoor re-creation of a typical Saskatchewan town of 1910; Shops and business are filled with artifacts representative of the period; complementing Boomtown are agricultural and transportation galleries; a highlight of the Agricultural collection is the Canadian Steam portable engines dating to 1880's and 1890's

Closed: Closed Good Friday, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. The Museum will close by 3:00 pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
