King's Point Heritage Society Inc.
Tourism Region: Green Bay
A family donated a 2-storey house built in 1904 to the Society to restore as a heritage house & museum for our community. We have also obtained the carcass of a 50ft, 80ton humpback whale. After cleaning & curing the skeletal remains, it will be re-assembled for display. Whales are constant visitors to our bay. We have also registered for an archaeological dig as evidence of Maritime Archaic Indians have been found on local farms.
Antique household furniture, old land documents & photographs, antique books, local family histories/stories, humpback whale skeleton display, original garden plants from early 1900's.
