Hazelton Pioneer Museum and Archives

The Hazelton Pioneer Museum and Archives holds artifacts and archives pertaining to the Hazelton Area, with particular emphasis on post Euro-Canadian settlement (1860). This includes information on mining, packers, the Chinese community, healthcare, education, the telegraph line, forestry, commerce, sternwheelers, the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway, the initial settlement of the Hazeltons and early pioneer activities. The Hazelton area is bordered by Cedarvale in the west, Moricetown in the east, and includes Hazelton, New Hazelton, South Hazelton, Kispiox Valley, Kitwanga Valley, and Suskwa Valley.
