Centre d'exposition l'Imagier

Devoted to promotion and diffusion of contemporary visual arts, the Centre d'exposition l'Imagier presents various exhibitions all throw the year. An "outdoor museam" in a beautiful parc beind the centre, the Parc de l'Imaginaire, is also to discover. With these two sites, l'Imagier can fulfil it's mandate : give the contemporary art artists a place to express themselves and help the community to become aware of visual arts.

Educational Programs
- School workshops : The workshops are developed and supervised by professional workshop leaders and complement the guided tours of exhibitions at L'Imagier. Students first visit the on-going exhibition. This introduction is useful in fostering awareness of current concerns in the art world. They then participate in a creativity workshop where they are given the opportunity to create a personal work related to the exhibition.
- Satuday workshops : Ment for the population in general but especially for the 7 to 14 age group. Divers themes and art technics are teached every saturday during the fall and winter session.
- Summer workshops : The summer workshops are like the saturday workshops but they go on all throw the week.
- Art training sessions for teachers of elementary schools.

- Free summer shows are presented in the Parc de l'Imaginaire. The categories are : world music, mini-jazz festival, shows for children and special event.
- A visual art work is also presented every summer.
- Room renting for various workshops.
