The Aero Space Museum Association of Calgary was founded in 1975. The Museum is housed in a former 1942 British Commonwealth Air Training Plan Hall. The Museum's Mission is to Promote the Appreciation of Western Canadians contributions in Aviation and Space.

About the Collections

Substantial number of historical aircraft both civil and military; one of the largest aeronautical engine collections in North America; Comprehensive research library and archives; Uniforms; Artwork, etc.

Educational Programs

The museum offers programs for all ages with a special focus on the Alberta grade six curriculum - Theory of Flight; also special programs on Space and courses on amateur radio operations.

Open: Open from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., seven days a week

Closed:
Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Admission: Charged
Adults - $7.00; Seniors (60 and over) - $4.50; Students (12 to 17 years or with valid student ID card) - $4.50; Children (6-11) - $3.50; under 5 are free; Family (two adults and 4 children 17 years of age or under) - $18.00
