Air Force Heritage Museum and Air Park

The Air Force Heritage Museum is located inside the Headquarters of Canada's Air Force in Winnipeg, MB. The museum contains mainly rare artifacts including two Victoria Crosses and one of only twelve remaining Battle of Britain Lace Tapestries in the World. This Tapestry is made up of over 26,000 miles of the finest Egyptian Cotton and is the only example in the world where the entire Tapestry can be seen by visitors.

The Heritage Park consists of 17 aircraft on permanent year round display, making this the largest park of it's kind in Canada.

Battle of Britain Ceremony

Battle of Britain Ceremony takes place on the 3rd Sunday in September to commemorate those men and women who served with distinction during this pariod of our history.

About the Collections

The collection consists of personal and professional items used by military aviators during the past century.

The museum has the largest collection of aircraft art on display in Canada including the entire 102 pieces of the CANAV Collection.

The park consists of a collection of aircraft used by Canada's Air Force since the Second World War.
