Belfast Historical Society
Région touristique : Hills and Harbours
The Belfast Historical Society has been in existence since 1976. We meet once a month to study and promote the heritage that is unique to this area. We identify historic sites and properties, engage special speakers and issue a monthly newsletter. We take a keen interest in educating both youth and adults in our area about their rich history. We are available for community school, genealogy research and also have published books and papers. We are partnered with the Caledonia Club, one of the oldest organizations on the island and have twinned with two historical societies in Scotland.
